KidEase
Alberta child care guide
KidEase lists licensed daycare in Canada.
This guide points to official government pages. KidEase does not set fees or award grants.
Create your KidEase listing after you have a licence, or claim the one already in the directory.
Fees after the Canada-wide agreements
Reduced parent fees are set by each province for participating licensed programs. Confirm the current amount on the official pages. KidEase does not invent a fee.
Space Creation and Building Blocks capital intakes have been closed. Affordability Grant (operating) is capped and tied to federal-provincial space limits. New licence applicants are typically not eligible for affordability funding. KidEase does not award these grants.
Subsidy steps
Apply on the official subsidy or funding page. KidEase does not process the application.
Waitlist rules
Waitlist rules are set by the province. KidEase does not charge a waitlist fee. Read the licensing page before you ask a family to join a list.
How to start a licensed daycare
Start at Alberta’s “Start a childcare program” page. Confirm affordability-funding eligibility before you apply: new applicants are often not eligible. New family day home agency licences are not being accepted at this time (confirm on the official page).
