KidEase
Manitoba child care guide
KidEase lists licensed daycare in Canada.
This guide points to official government pages. KidEase does not set fees or award grants.
Create your KidEase listing after you have a licence, or claim the one already in the directory.
Fees after the Canada-wide agreements
Reduced parent fees are set by each province for participating licensed programs. Confirm the current amount on the official pages. KidEase does not invent a fee.
Eligible licensed non-profit centres and family/group homes may apply for a one-time start-up grant within one year of licensing new or expanded spaces: typically about $300/home space, $450/infant, preschool or school-age centre space, $245/nursery-school space: for licensing equipment, not wages or rent. Operating grants exist for eligible non-profits. Discretionary and budget-limited. Ask your Child Care Coordinator before purchasing.
Subsidy steps
Apply on the official subsidy or funding page. KidEase does not process the application.
Waitlist rules
Waitlist rules are set by the province. KidEase does not charge a waitlist fee. Read the licensing page before you ask a family to join a list.
How to start a licensed daycare
Attend a required information session, then apply for a licence. Centres must follow The Community Child Care Standards Act. Contact cdcinfo@gov.mb.ca to register for a session.
