KidEase
Newfoundland and Labrador child care guide
KidEase lists licensed daycare in Canada.
This guide points to official government pages. KidEase does not set fees or award grants.
Create your KidEase listing after you have a licence, or claim the one already in the directory.
Fees after the Canada-wide agreements
Reduced parent fees are set by each province for participating licensed programs. Confirm the current amount on the official pages. KidEase does not invent a fee.
The Child Care Capacity Initiative supports eligible not-for-profits and municipalities with start-up, renovation, and equipment to meet licensing: especially in underserved areas. An Operating Grant Program supports participating regulated services in the reduced-fee model. Confirm current eligibility on the official not-for-profit child care page.
Subsidy steps
Apply on the official subsidy or funding page. KidEase does not process the application.
Waitlist rules
Waitlist rules are set by the province. KidEase does not charge a waitlist fee. Read the licensing page before you ask a family to join a list.
How to start a licensed daycare
Start on the provincial child care site, then talk to regional licensing about a centre or family home. Not-for-profit groups expanding spaces often begin with a community needs assessment.
