KidEase
Ontario child care guide
KidEase lists licensed daycare in Canada.
This guide points to official government pages. KidEase does not set fees or award grants.
Create your KidEase listing after you have a licence, or claim the one already in the directory.
Fees after the Canada-wide agreements
Reduced parent fees are set by each province for participating licensed programs. Confirm the current amount on the official pages. KidEase does not invent a fee.
CWELCC Start-up Grants are administered by your local CMSM or DSSAB under Directed Growth: not by KidEase and not as a walk-in provincial form. Centre projects have been described as up to about $350,000 per 20 spaces; homes up to about $1,200/space (often capped around $7,200 per provider). Caps, spend deadlines, and who is invited change. Confirm with your service system manager.
Subsidy steps
Apply on the official subsidy or funding page. KidEase does not process the application.
Waitlist rules
Waitlist rules are set by the province. KidEase does not charge a waitlist fee. Read the licensing page before you ask a family to join a list.
How to start a licensed daycare
Register on the Child Care Licensing System (CCLS), watch the orientation, and apply online. You do not need to own or lease the site before applying, but you must give a proposed address and zoning proof. A licence can take many months.
