KidEase
Prince Edward Island child care guide
KidEase lists licensed daycare in Canada.
This guide points to official government pages. KidEase does not set fees or award grants.
Create your KidEase listing after you have a licence, or claim the one already in the directory.
Fees after the Canada-wide agreements
Reduced parent fees are set by each province for participating licensed programs. Confirm the current amount on the official pages. KidEase does not invent a fee.
A Non-Profit Organization Child Care Start-Up Grant (up to about $200,000 for eligible construction/renovation) had a public intake that closed 31 October 2025. Operating grants exist for designated Early Years and family home centres. Check the official licensing and Early Years pages for any open intake: do not treat a closed grant as current money.
Subsidy steps
Apply on the official subsidy or funding page. KidEase does not process the application.
Waitlist rules
Waitlist rules are set by the province. KidEase does not charge a waitlist fee. Read the licensing page before you ask a family to join a list.
How to start a licensed daycare
Apply online for an Early Childhood Centre (or family home) licence and upload the guideline package (plans, checks, zoning, fire and public health). Designation as an Early Years Centre is a further step for the publicly managed fee model.
