Fees after the Canada-wide agreements

Reduced parent fees are set by each province for participating licensed programs. Confirm the current amount on the official pages. KidEase does not invent a fee.

Subsidized spaces (reduced-contribution) are awarded through competitive project calls: not a start-up cheque from KidEase. Non-subsidized garderies may still operate with a permit; parents may use the Revenu Québec childcare tax credit. Confirm the current call on Québec.ca.

How to start a licensed daycare

Québec is its own system (not CWELCC fee rules). To open a CPE or a subsidized garderie, apply through a project call for subsidized spaces. A non-subsidized garderie applies directly to the ministry for a permit (application fee applies). Do not start build-out before written ministry authorization.
